Welcome to Capri Community, Inc.
Isles of Capri, Naples, Florida

Isles of Capri is a unique island community established in 1955 by Tennessee native and founder, Leland L. “Doc” Loach. He envisioned a quaint and quiet fishing village nestled amongst a group of four mangrove islands south of Naples near Marco Island. Original potential homeowners were ferried from Marco Island to discover this quiet little slice of paradise and built their sturdy and charming homes, most with direct boating access to the Gulf of Mexico. Today Isles of Capri is home to about 600 full-time residents and 1,300 seasonal residents. Our isles boast four delicious and diverse restaurants accessible by car or boat, a fruit market, a community park, fire and rescue station and a Community Center building for social activities. Known for excellent fishing with tarpon, redfish, snook, sea trout and mangrove snapper among the many diverse species regularly caught, the Isles of Capri also enjoys the wildlife that lives right at its backdoor. Dolphins, manatees, turtles, raccoons and a wide variety of shorebirds can be enjoyed on a regular basis and even an elusive bobcat can be spotted. Many people visit the laid-back Island restaurants and remark that they didn’t even know this quiet little place existed so close to the hustle and bustle of Naples and Marco Island..

Those of us who call this place home appreciate what a little slice of paradise it truly is. A big part of the charm of our community is the social events that bring our neighbors together. As such, Capri Community, Inc., was established as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 social organization incorporated in the State of Florida. Click here to read more about Capri Community Inc., (CCI).
